Nova Science Now Explores Autotune
Airing on PBS tonight is Nova Science Now with Neil deGrasse Tyson on which they will be exploring, among other things, Autotune and the implications it has on modern music. It'll also be airing multiple times throughout the month, so check your local listings for details. Thanks to my friend Li'l Craigy McDonald for the tip!

;)
That's funny, that's exactly what's on my birth certificate.
what a brilliant show. thanks for the heads up Tom.
blew my mind on so many levels...but then i got thinking... in a kind of depressing way... if being a genius at music is hard wired from birth (or from lightning strike) am i perpetually going to be a Salieri to the Mozarts of the world?
My understanding is that the whole Mozart/Salieri story is greatly exaggerated. While we may not remember Salieri the way we do Mozart, he was still pretty successful in his day. The important thing is that you enjoy making the music. Anything that comes on top of that is just the icing on the cake.
