Brambos Releases Free Monotron Monostudio for Windows

Brambos has released a freeware program for Windows called Monostudio. Monostudio is software created to be used with Korg's excellent little Monotron synth. It includes the ability to add tempo-synced delays, distortion, and other effects, as well as a simple drum machine based on the vintage Korg Minipops drum machine.

CHECK IT OUT!

Maybe I get this wrong... but is there something monotron specific about his app, or is it just a collection of fx bundled as a standalone application? I mean, does not look like something I don't have already in my daw...

No, there's nothing specific to the Monotron, I think it was just made with that specific use in mind. You could do the same thing with your DAW, I think this is just supposed to be a more compact solution for people who want something simpler.

I think I am going to buy the Monotron, if only for the aesthetics. And the filter is a bonus. Is is suitable for voices Tom?

Jut downloaded it yesterday (Monotron only arrived last Friday) - a compact solution for a compact synth.
