Apple Updates Logic to 9.1.1
In case you missed it, Apple updated both Logic Pro and Logic Express to version 9.1.1. Nothing super exciting in this one, mostly addressing some compatibility issues, but it's nice to see Apple still at it with the updates these days. Maybe it's just me, but it seems like they've been a bit more on top of squashing bugs this time around.

Since Express 9 never received Pro's 9.1 update, it's great to see this 9.1.1 release of Express brings it back up to date with the Pro package in terms of bugfixes.
The list of bugs fixed from Express 9.0.1 to 9.1.1 is very long: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2567
Thanks Apple, from all Express users.
It fixed some major speed issues for me. Logic Pro 9 should run better than it has been running on my Mac Pro 8 core with 10GB of RAM. 9.1.1 made a huge improvement for me in performance. (by performance, I would drag around an audio clip and it was just really sluggish at responding, and when I drop an audio sample, it would lag a bit and end up dropping it in the wrong spot every time.
Wow, there is a lot of useful data above!
Quite useful info, thank you for the article.
