Free Rapture Soundbank!

For owners of Cakewalk's criminally underrated softsynth, the fine folks at Muz3um have put together a fantastic, wide-ranging collection of nearly 700 new presets (including 573 new waveforms and 36 new impulse responses) mostly based on waveforms from the classic synths of yesteryear. The bank is free, but note that only one download per IP is allowed.

GO GET THEM!

NICE!! Now, if I could only get Rapture to actually WORK on my MacBook pro...
Ah well.

Works fine on mine! What is the problem you are having?

Basically, the problem is that it won't play anything! I know that's not incredibly descriptive, but I'm pretty sure it has much to do with the fact that it can't locate any of the presets or bundled waveforms, despite them being installed, because I'd tried to search for the presets I'd made back when I was still working on PC. I'm also having the same issue with my Albino 3 install for much the same reason...

To sum-up, I'm an idiot when it comes to Macs and cannot figure out where the default install paths for the presets are :S

Rapture presets are saved in Macintosh HD>Library>Audio>Plug-Ins and you should see a folder called Rapture Content which is where all the waveforms and patches are stored. If there are presets in there that aren't showing up within Rapture itself, look in the Programs folder for a file called programs.lst and delete it. This is the 'database' of patches, and if you delete it, it will rebuild to include the new patches when you next start Rapture...
