Today's free samples are again sourced from the underrated Ensoniq SQ-80. This time out, it's a sound I programmed myself called Moogbs. As the name implies, it's a punchy synth bass sort of like what you'd expect from a Minimoog. For a digital synth, the SQ-80 is capable of some quite analog-sounding tones (thanks in part to the fact that it has analog filters). 5 octaves in total are multisampled on every C and G as 24-bit stereo WAV files. Files weigh in around 2.5 MB.
GO GET THEM!
(By the way, DJAfroMac turned last week's Free Sample Friday samples into an Ableton Live Rack, which you can get here...)
