Live Dubstep Hotness

I love it when musicians perform a traditionally electronic type of music with traditional instruments. (And if you haven't seen KJ Sawka's incredible live drum n' bass drumming, check it out here!) Here is a drummer and a bassist with a boatload of effects doing some dubstep and drum n'bass style stuff live. I wish I knew what his effects rig was!

While the bass player faintly resembles a younger Tom, I can think of much better examples of bands who have done/are doing this better. Check out Keith Leblanc's 2o some year work with Tack>Head and The Dub Trio who have been sought out as the opening act by bands as diverse as Meat Beat Manifesto and Helmet...

You know, I have tons of respect for LeBlanc's career, but despite really trying to, I have never really dug his music at all. Don't know what it is, but it just doesn't connect with me for some reason. I think it's just an aesthetic thing.

(And yes, the bass player does look like a bit like me way back when...haha)
