I've always been a big fan of Ulrich Schnauss. Something about his music reminds me of the glory days of 4AD Records and the grandiose atmosphere that all of their releases seemed to have (especially This Mortal Coil). Electric Independence interview the elusive composer and have a look at his seriously enviable gear collection. I'm glad to hear he has a new release on the way. I had heard the project was done, but that thankfully doesn't appear to be the case.

All this great gear, and he uses a shitty evolution controller???? I used to have the same model, and the velocity curves were pretty much unusable!
