I just got one of these via Ebay too. The factory presets sound a bit thin and cheesy (aimed at the Trance/Techno market of the mid 90's), but once you start making your own programs, you can get some very decent sounds out of it. Overall it's a bit lo-fi, but nevertheless worth buying, I think.
Yeah, a friend of mine lent me his Polymorph for awhile and I would say the same thing about its presets. They were kind of Kraftwerky, which is cool, but not as impressive as what the synth could really do once you dug into it a bit.
