Free Sampling Instrument for NI Reaktor

Peter Dines who runs the Reaktortips blog has released Frame 3, a freeware sampling instrument for Native Instruments Reaktor 5.8 or greater.  Frame 3 takes a sample and then defines a moveable playback "window" that allows you to scan throughout the waveform without clicks, pops, or the usual artifacts you'd normally encounter by doing so.

Play Your Own Singing Arc Online

Remember this video of a guy playing the Imperial March theme from Star Wars on a giant 'singing' Tesla coil? ArcAttack, the gang responsible for that video now have an ArcAttack Emulator on their website that lets you simulate playing the instrument without the risk of all that nasty death stuff.

Like the way this sounds, but wish you could play it from your MIDI controller? If you have Native Instruments Reaktor 5, you're in luck. In the Reaktor User Library, there is an ensemble called Tesla "Singing Arc" 6.0 by Keith Adams that lets you do just that.

Came across this cool new blog about all things Reaktor. I always thought Native Instruments really dropped the ball with their documentation for Reaktor, so I'm always happy to see when someone else shares their knowledge.
