Last summer New Sonic Arts released a granular-based softsynth called Granite for PC both as a plug-in and standalone version. An OS X version is currently in beta testing and the company has opened this up to anyone who cares to give it a spin (with the usual caveats that come with beta software). Open Beta Test for New Sonic Arts Granite for OS X
