Korg Registers "Monotribe" as Trademark

Not much info is known beyond the fact in the headline. Could this be a hybrid of the Monotron and the Electribe? Time will tell, but the possibility is pretty promising...

    Electribe EMX with monophonic analog signal path in the synthesizer section. MSRP of $1000 with street price of $600-$800. Certainly at the $700 mark if the drum section is analogue.

    Optional reel to reel tape drive for saving presets.
