But in all seriousness, this is really a nice song. I was not at all thrilled by "Wrong", but this some of the strongest songwriting I've heard from the group for a while. I wonder if Dave or Martin wrote this one...
Some bands are still trying to breath... Depeche Mode is continuing...
This is strange; they are changing since ever; and they never changed in the end! If you all got my crazy prisma here... When you hear new songs, PAH! "Fuck, it´s Depeche Mode!!!"
very pretty. love to see Martin give it in the vocal department.
do you think Fletch is actually doing anything? or is he just posing for the camera?
i still remember the Violation tour- (3rd row centre at the Exhibition Place in Toronto) - watching Fletch trigger the handclaps during Behind the Wheel- yeah that was all he played... gotta love the Fletch though.
25+ years together, and still making vibrant music. I think Dave prefers to be a solo artist, but realizes he can make more money as the author of a Depeche Mode song. That said, this sounds like a group effort and solid song.
I admire Fletch's moxie against the Martin/David show. Shine on, Fletch. Still miss Alan.
Wow, Fletch actually turned a knob!
